The BIBS De Lux Latex pacifier has a round nipple and is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). The fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material that is similar in texture to a mother's breast. This version is in the Dusky Lilac shade and is recommended for babies from 6 months and up.

The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, and the nipple takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that offers comfort during use. The round shape of the nipple makes it suitable for many babies.

The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with multiple holes that allow for air circulation. This construction helps ventilate the skin around the baby's mouth while wearing the pacifier.

Good pacifier hygiene involves cleaning it frequently. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the towel until the water is expelled. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
