BIBS De Lux Latex Pacifier round teat 6 months+ made of natural latex with PP shield
The BIBS De Lux pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). The fluid is refined, resulting in latex - a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, and it takes on the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of natural latex, and the flexible shield around it has a slightly concave shape to reduce contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and has multiple holes that allow for air circulation.
For good hygiene, the pacifier must be cleaned frequently. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, which is why latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves 3 steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it, and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is expelled.
