BIBS Colour Studio Collection Stripe Latex Sage Pacifier, round nipple, 6 months+ natural latex
The BIBS Colour Studio Collection Stripe Latex pacifier in the shade Sage is made of latex, a material derived from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The pacifier is part of the Colour Studio collection and features a round nipple, recommended for babies from 6 months onwards.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. It is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP, designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then take the pacifier out onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is removed. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
