The BIBS pacifier from the Colour Studio Stripe collection is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined, resulting in latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round teat of the pacifier is recommended for babies from 6 months onwards and adopts the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.

The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth. It is made of 100% natural latex, offering a soft and pleasant texture. The flexible disc around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin, contributing to comfort during use.

The pacifier disc is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow for air circulation. The pacifier is marked for the 6-18 month size.

Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Since latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution. Sterilization involves 3 steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through the valve, press the teat with the napkin until the water is removed. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
