The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it, and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
