BIBS Colour Studio Collection Stripe Latex Pacifier Ivory/Steel Blue round nipple 0 months+ made of latex
The BIBS Colour Studio Collection Stripe Latex pacifier in the shade Ivory/Steel Blue is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex and takes the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth. The flexible disc around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The disc is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. The model features a round nipple and a size recommended for 0-6 months.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean paper towel and let it air dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, use the paper towel to press the nipple until the water is removed. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
