BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier symmetrical teat 6 months+ Sand made of 100% natural latex with PP shield
The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in the Sand shade features a symmetrical nipple made of 100% natural latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The symmetrical nipple adopts the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is suitable for children from 6 to 18 months old.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, helping the nipple maintain its shape. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with multiple holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or sterilizing solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, use the paper towel to squeeze the nipple until the water is removed. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
