BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier, symmetrical teat, 6-18 months, 100% natural latex, PP shield
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined, resulting in latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The symmetrical nipple takes the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and includes a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth.
The pacifier nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible disc around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The disc is made of 100% PP and is designed with multiple holes to allow for air circulation. The product can be used by babies from 6 to 18 months old.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through its valve, squeeze the nipple with the napkin until the water is removed. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use to maintain safety and hygiene during daily use.
