BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier, symmetrical teat, 6 months+, Baby Blue, made of 100% natural latex
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The Baby Blue model features a symmetrical nipple suitable for babies from 6 months old.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that adapts to the child's sucking movements.
The flexible shield around the nipple is slightly concave to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with multiple holes to allow air circulation. This construction helps the skin around the mouth breathe during use.
Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, therefore latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through its valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled. Replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use to maintain safety and hygiene.
