BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier with symmetrical nipple, made of natural latex, for 6 months +
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex—a soft, elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast.
The symmetrical teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, adapting to the natural shape of the oral cavity. The teat is made of natural latex. The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP, with multiple holes that allow for air circulation.
For good hygiene, clean the pacifier frequently. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution.
Sterilization involves 3 steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the teat through the valve, press the teat with the paper towel until the water is removed.
