BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier, round nipple, 6 months+, Vanilla, PP shield, 100% natural latex
The BIBS Colour Latex Vanilla pacifier is made of latex, a natural material obtained from the fluid derived from the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is recommended for ages 6 months and up.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, and the material from which it is made is 100% natural latex. This combination offers flexibility and comfort during use, adapting to the baby's natural movements. The size of this model corresponds to the 6-18 month range.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. This way, the skin around the mouth remains aerated and the irritation that can occur from prolonged contact is reduced.
Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. The manufacturer recommends replacing the pacifier after 4-6 weeks of use.
