BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier, round teat, 6 months+, Pistachio, 100% natural latex, 100% PP shield
The BIBS Colour Latex Pistachio pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex: an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple follows the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is suitable for children from 6 months onwards.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, conforming to the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible disc around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The disc is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or with sterilizing solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, squeeze the nipple with the towel until the water is expelled. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
