The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in the shade Olive is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material, similar in texture to a mother's breast. The round nipple is recommended for babies from 6 months old and mimics the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.

The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, which gives it a soft and elastic texture. Thanks to the valve, the nipple maintains its shape and easily adapts to the baby's sucking movements.

The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP, designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.

Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized, and after 4-6 weeks of use, pacifiers should be replaced for the baby's safety.

Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Proper sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then take the pacifier out onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, use a paper towel to press the nipple until the water is removed.
