The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in the Deep Space shade is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The pacifier features a round nipple and is recommended for babies from 6 months onwards, in the 6-18 months size.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thus adopting the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft and elastic material that adapts easily. This construction supports the baby's comfort while using the pacifier.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Since latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
