BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat 6 months + Caramel 100% natural latex
The BIBS Colour Caramel pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid derived from the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material, similar in texture to a mother's breast. The teat is made of 100% natural latex, and its round shape naturally follows the contour of the baby's oral cavity.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, allowing the teat to settle gently and comfortably. The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the teat through its valve, press the teat with the napkin until the water is eliminated. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
