The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in the shade Blush comes in dedicated, more practical and elegant packaging, which offers a premium presentation and ease of storage. It is recommended for babies from 6 months old, and the size covers the 6-18 months interval, fitting the stage where the child needs a slightly larger pacifier.
The pacifier nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a material derived from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material, similar in texture to a mother's breast. The nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the child's oral cavity.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good hygiene requires frequent cleaning of the pacifier. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it air dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is removed. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
