The BIBS Colour pacifier comes in dedicated, practical, and elegant packaging, which makes storage and transport easy. BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). The fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material that is similar in texture to a mother's breast.
The nipple of the pacifier is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible disc around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The disc is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100 degrees C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution.
Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the napkin until the water is removed.
