BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier with natural latex round nipple, PP shield, 6 months +
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). The fluid is refined to create latex - a soft, elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The teat is made of natural latex. The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through the valve, press the teat with the paper towel until the water is expelled.
