BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat 18 months+ Woodchuck made of 100% natural latex with PP shield
The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in the Woodchuck shade features a round nipple made from 100% natural latex, a material derived from the sap of the rubber tree (hevea). This sap is refined to create latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The model is designed for babies 18 months and older.
The pacifier nipple is equipped with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, allowing the nipple to naturally adapt to the shape of the oral cavity. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and has 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good hygiene requires frequent cleaning: the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized, and the manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4–6 weeks of use.
Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution. Proper sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is expelled.
