The BIBS Colour Latex Sage pacifier for children 18 months+ is made of latex, a material sourced from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple adopts the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and offers a familiar sensation during use.

The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thus adapting to the child's natural movements. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, for children 18 months and older.

The flexible disc around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The disc is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air to circulate around the mouth, thus contributing to the child's comfort during daily use.

Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Since latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the towel until the water is removed.
