BIBS Colour Latex pacifier round nipple 0 months+ Woodchuck 100% natural latex
The BIBS Colour Latex Woodchuck pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex, an elastic and soft material that feels similar to a mother's breast. The round teat is recommended for babies aged 0 to 6 months and adapts to the natural shape of the child's oral cavity.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, providing increased comfort during use. The teat is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible shield around it has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it, and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it air dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through its valve, use the towel to press the teat until the water is removed. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
