BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat 0 months+ Violet Sky made of natural latex with PP shield
The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in Violet Sky shade has a round nipple made of 100% natural latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the hevea rubber tree. This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to the mother's breast, which helps the baby accept the pacifier more easily.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. Due to this construction, the nipple adapts to sucking movements and offers a sensation similar to natural breastfeeding. The recommended size is 0-6 months, suitable for little ones from birth.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP, designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation around the mouth.
Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning; the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the napkin until the water is removed. Replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
