BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat 0 months+ Sunshine, 100% natural latex with PP shield
The BIBS Colour Latex Sunshine pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is recommended for ages 0 months and up.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, helping the nipple to conform to the natural shape of the mouth. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible shield around it has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilizing solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through its valve, press the nipple with the towel until the water is expelled. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
