BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat 0 months + Sky Blue made of 100% natural latex
The BIBS Colour Latex Sky Blue pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple adopts the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and provides comfort during use.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible shield around it is slightly concave to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain proper hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Since latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it air dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is expelled. It is recommended to replace the pacifier after 4-6 weeks of use.
