BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat 0 months+ Sage made of 100% natural latex with PP shield
The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in the shade Sage is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid derived from the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material that is similar in texture to a mother's breast. The round nipple of the pacifier takes the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is suitable from 0 months.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thus providing increased comfort during use. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape, designed to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP, designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is removed. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
