BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat 0 months+ 100% natural latex
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The pacifier nipple is made of 100% natural latex and is designed to take the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.
The round nipple has a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thus offering comfortable use. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
The pacifier is recommended for babies from 0 months and is size 0-6 months. To maintain good hygiene, it is important to clean the pacifier frequently. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized, and pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, use the paper towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled.
