BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier, round teat, 0 months+, Mocha, PP shield with 3 ventilation holes
The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in the shade Mocha is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple mimics the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and helps soothe them from 0 months onwards.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, and the material it is made of is 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air to circulate around the mouth.
Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized, and it is recommended to replace the pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use to maintain good hygiene and material integrity.
Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Proper sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it, and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it air dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, gently press the nipple with the towel until the water is expelled.
