BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat 0 months+ Mint 100% natural latex, tested PP shield
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made from latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. This version in the Mint shade is recommended for babies aged 0 to 6 months.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The teat is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that adapts to the baby's movements during sucking and provides comfort during use.
The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation and help ventilate the area around the mouth.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes, then place it on a clean towel and let it air dry. If water has entered the teat through the valve, squeeze the teat with the towel until the water is expelled. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
