BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat Island Sea, 100% natural latex, 0 months+
The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in the Island Sea shade is made of latex, a material obtained from the sap of the rubber tree (Hevea). This sap is refined to create latex: a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple mimics the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth. It is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP, with 3 holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or with sterilizing solutions.
Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is expelled. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
