BIBS Colour Latex pacifier round nipple Honey Bee 0 months+ natural latex material
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The Honey Bee version uses a round nipple suitable for babies from 0 to 6 months old.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that easily adapts to the needs of little ones during this developmental stage.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the napkin until the water is removed. Replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
