BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier, round nipple, Heather, made of natural latex, for 0 months+
The BIBS Colour Heather pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined, resulting in latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The pacifier is designed for babies from 0 months old and is available in the Heather shade.
The round nipple of the pacifier is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft and flexible material that adapts comfortably to the needs of little ones during breastfeeding and beyond.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation, thus contributing to the comfort of the area around the mouth.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, use the napkin to press the nipple until the water is removed.
