BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat 0 months+ Haze made of natural latex with tested PP shield
The BIBS Colour Haze pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). The fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple adopts the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is recommended for the age of 0-6 months.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, and it is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin, offering extra comfort during daily use.
The shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning, and the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Proper sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple using the paper towel until the water is expelled. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
