BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier, round teat, 0 months+, Earth, made of natural latex and PP shield
The BIBS Colour Earth pacifier is made from latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex and has a round shape that mimics the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. This construction provides comfort for the baby during use.
Pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is removed. The use of the pacifier is recommended for babies aged 0 to 6 months. Replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
