BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat 0 months+ Desert Sand made of 100% natural latex, PP shield
The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in the shade Desert Sand is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined, resulting in an elastic and soft material, similar in texture to a mother's breast. The round nipple mimics the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is recommended from 0 months.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, and the nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin and is made of 100% PP, designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it, and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the towel until the water is eliminated. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
