BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat Deep Space 0 months+ natural latex PP shield with 3 holes
The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in the shade Deep Space is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is designed for babies from 0 months.
The pacifier nipple is equipped with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thus adapting to natural sucking movements. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible disc around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The disc is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Cleaning and sterilizing the pacifier are essential for good hygiene. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C, which is why latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and let it sit for 5 minutes, then take it out onto a clean napkin and let it air dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the napkin until the water is removed. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
