BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier round teat 0 months+ Bubblegum made of 100% natural latex with PP shield
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The Bubblegum version is recommended from 0 months and covers the 0-6 month age range.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and the round shape makes it suitable for daily use from 0 months.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow for air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized, and pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use for the baby's safety.
Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is removed.
