BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier, round teat, 0 months+, Blossom, 100% natural latex, PP shield
The BIBS Colour Latex Blossom pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The teat is made of 100% natural latex and has a round shape, suitable for babies from 0 months onwards.
The pacifier's teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thus conforming to the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Since latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through the valve, press the teat with the paper towel until the water is expelled. The manufacturer recommends replacing the pacifier after 4-6 weeks of use.
