BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). The fluid is refined to produce latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast.

The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of natural latex. The flexible disc around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The disc is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.

For pacifier hygiene, it should be cleaned frequently. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution. Sterilization involves 3 steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the napkin until the water is eliminated.
