BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier anatomical teat Vanilla 6 months 100% natural latex
The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in the shade Vanilla is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to result in latex: a soft and elastic material, similar in texture to the mother's breast, suitable for babies from 6 months onwards.
The pacifier nipple has an anatomical shape and is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, adopting the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, which provides flexibility and a pleasant contact with the baby's skin.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and designed with multiple holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or sterilizing solution. Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it, and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean cloth and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, use the cloth to press the nipple until the water is removed.
