BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier with natural latex anatomical nipple, 6 months +, Blush color
The BIBS Colour pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The Blush shade complements a range of subtle colors, and the product is recommended from 6 months.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP, designed with multiple holes that allow air circulation.
Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100 degrees C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilizing solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for five minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, gently press the nipple with a paper towel until the water is eliminated.
Good hygiene requires frequent cleaning of the pacifier. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized, and pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
