BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier anatomical teat 0 months+ Sand made of 100% natural latex
The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in the Sand shade is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). The fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast, which is why many babies accept it easily from their first months of life.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, allowing the teat to take on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The teat is made of 100% natural latex, and its anatomical shape makes it suitable for use from 0 to 6 months, according to the size indicated by the manufacturer.
The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with multiple holes that allow air circulation, helping to ventilate the area around the mouth.
For good hygiene, the pacifier must be cleaned frequently; the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it, leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it air dry. If water has entered the teat through the valve, press the teat with the paper towel until the water is expelled.
