The BIBS Colour Latex pacifier in Ivory is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The pacifier is recommended from 0 months and is available in size 0-6 months, suitable for the baby's first months of life.
The pacifier's anatomical teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, adopting the natural shape of the oral cavity. The teat is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that adapts comfortably during sucking. Through the valve, air escapes and the teat maintains its natural shape as the baby sucks.
The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape, designed to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with multiple holes that allow for air circulation. This construction helps to prevent irritation of the sensitive skin around the baby's mouth.
Pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning, and the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C; therefore, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution. Replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
