BIBS Colour Latex Pacifier anatomical teat 0 months+ Fossil Grey made of 100% natural latex
The BIBS Colour Latex Fossil Grey pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The anatomical teat takes on the natural shape of the baby's mouth and is recommended from 0 months.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, and the teat is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with multiple holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then place the pacifier on a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through the valve, use the towel to press the teat until the water is removed. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
