BIBS Boheme Pacifier Latex round teat 6 months + Mauve 100% natural latex
The BIBS Boheme pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material, similar in texture to a mother's breast. The round teat of the pacifier takes the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is made of 100% natural latex, a suitable choice for little ones from 6 months onwards.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, helping the teat maintain its shape. The flexible disc around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The disc is made of 100% PP and designed with multiple holes that allow air to circulate around the mouth area.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain its hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through its valve, use the towel to press the teat until the water is removed. The manufacturer recommends replacing the pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
