BIBS Boheme Latex Pacifier round teat 6 months + Blush made of 100% natural latex with PP shield
The BIBS Boheme Blush pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is recommended for ages 0-6 months.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with multiple holes that allow for air circulation.
Pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or using sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it air dry. If water has entered the nipple through its valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
