BIBS Boheme pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex—a soft, elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast.

The nipple of the pacifier is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple is slightly concave to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with multiple holes to allow for air circulation.

Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or sterilizing solution. Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean cloth and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, use the cloth to press the nipple until the water is expelled.
