BIBS Boheme Latex Pacifier round teat 0 months+ Woodchuck made of 100% natural latex
The BIBS Boheme Woodchuck pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and its round shape naturally conforms to the baby's mouth.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, helping the pacifier adapt to the natural shape of the mouth. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape, minimizing contact points with the baby's skin. This shield is made of PP and is designed with multiple holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain its hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, use the paper towel to press the nipple until the water is removed. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
