BIBS Boheme Latex Pacifier round teat 0 months+ Dusky Lilac made of 100% natural latex
The BIBS Boheme Latex pacifier in the Dusky Lilac shade is made of latex, a material derived from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple is designed to take the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and to provide comfort during use.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth. It is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with multiple holes that allow air to circulate around the mouth.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Since latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, use the paper towel to press the nipple until the water is removed. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
