Latex is a material made from the fluid derived from the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The silicone nipple pacifiers have a specific shape that provides the baby with the proper technique for breastfeeding, and the nipples are designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, adopting the natural shape of the oral cavity.

Sterilization involves three steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it, and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, use the paper towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
