BIBS Set of 2 Colour Glow Latex Glow-in-the-Dark Pacifiers, round nipple, latex, 6-18 months
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made from latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex: a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and mimics the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The teat is made of natural latex. The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to reduce contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Proper pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl; pour boiling water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes; remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the teat through the valve, press the teat with the towel until the water is expelled.
